• The Hunter Centre for Gynaecological Cancer is based at the John Hunter Hospital
  but includes inpatient and outpatient services offered at other locations.
  
• Close liaison and cross referral occurs between John Hunter Hospital, the
  Mater Hospital (Newcastle) and the other private hospitals that include NIB,
  Lingard and Christo Road private hospitals.
  
• Palliative care is based at Merci Hospice, Mater Hospital, Newcastle
  
• Accommodation for country patients is available at the Kookaburra Cottages
  (Tel. 4921 3650) on the John Hunter Campus and at the Mater Villas
  (Tel. 4921 1405) attached to the Mater Hospital, Newcastle.
  
• Staff from John Hunter Hospital travel to Gosford District Hospital to provide
  Gynaecological Oncology services including an outpatient clinic and surgery
  once a month.
  
• Palliative Care services for women living in the Gosford area are offered
  out of Long Jetty Hospital (Tel. 4336 7700).
  
• Patients may also be seen in the private consulting rooms of the gynaecological
